AUSGRASS MARQUEE BILA PARK
For those beginners or nervous players
who wish to get in a bit of practise before the speedster
players get things really cooking, Ausgrass 2009 has introduced a
This session was first introduced by Jack
Hatfield at Ausgrass 2004 and time has not allowed us to
explore this valuable exercise untill now. To begin the session, a short explanation
of jam session etiquete,"How to join in a Jam
Session" will take a few moments and then the fun begins
with a few simple fun tunes. There will be group leaders (experienced
players) for each instrument , (fiddle, banjo, mandolin,
guitar) and a bass player to keep the timing nice and
steady. For those who know all about Bluegrass
Music and have nothing to learn, your expert playing would
be appreciated in the following Blackboard Concert, so don't
go too far away, practise up on your tunes, you are on
next.
